When you gamble with safety you bet your life

Why do employees take chances with safety?

How can we engage employees in our safety improvement plan?

These are questions we hear a lot from our clients, both new to behavioural safety as well as those with long established programmes.

Although there a many tool’s, there are two basic things any organisation can initially do:

  1. understand your current safety culture
  2. encourage reporting safety concerns as learning opportunities rather than solely to assign blame

There are many tools to help businesses, small and large, to create a continual improvement philosophy around safety concerns.

Although Bruche Associates Limited generally run in-company training events, we have two open courses running in the North West called ‘Introduction to Behavioural Safety techniques’:

  1. Friday 19th August 2016
  2. Friday 21st October 2016
